REACH Regulations Statement
The following is our current position with regards to the registration status of materials supplied by our raw material/downstream suppliers.
This statement covers our standard range of Silicone Sponge products, AD10, AD16, AD20, AD24, AD27 and AD33, which consist of 5 individual components and the current REACH status of each is listed below.
1. Silicone Base – All polymer suppliers to Adsil have confirmed the registration of products supplied.
2. Peroxide ‘A’ – supplier has confirmed registration.
3. Peroxide ‘B’ – supplier has confirmed registration
4. Masterbach Colours – the components for masterbatch colours cover a range of colours in excess of 15 individual shades. So far our supplier cannot confirm that all their suppliers have attained registration and will advise as and when this information becomes available.
5. Blowing Agent – this product is manufactured outside of Europe and the supplier has just recently applied for registration.
Advanced Silicones is classed as a downstream supplier and we have no obligation to register any of the above items, other than advise our customers that our suppliers have either registered or are in the process of registering the products supplied. We will update our statement as and when we receive information that is relevant to REACH.
